Tips for Capturing Spectacular Sun Shots!

Let’s begin this blog with photographs of my favorite subject- the sun.   Photographs of the sun’s rays can be fabulous! However you have to watch out for little red orbs of light that result from shooting directly into the sun.  These can ruin a spectacular photograph! Below are two examples. One shows a clear shot of the sun and it’s rays, the other shows how a great photo can be ruined by the presence of excess light orbs.  So if you have a wonderfully beautiful picture of sunlight send it to rainbowsofhappiness2013@gmail.com you may see your photograph on my site!

* Only authentic original photography will be excepted!!

Here you see the rainbow hues along the sun's rays. No excess light orbs ruined this capture!

This capture would have been perfect had it not been for the red orb of light marring the photograph!

So how can you manage to achieve an orb-free photograph of the sun?  This problem can be solved by standing at an angle when photographing the sun and the trajectories produced by rays. I’ve found that I’ve been able to capture more ray trajectories when I’m not shooting directly at the sun, resulting in an even more magnificent photograph! Next time you are photographing the sun, try this technique!  Share this technique with others! They’ll be grateful for your advice!  So there you go, you now have your first photography tip to apply towards creating amazing pictures!  Follow my blog to continue learning more and viewing fabulous photography! Remember to send your pictures of the sun to my email and your photograph may appear on my blog! Have a wonderful day my friends!
